Flows
Start a flow
A flow is a length of time, not a tracklist. Pick what you are doing and how long you have; the queue is built from everything written for that activity, shuffled fresh each time, and it fades out on its own when the time is up.
Pick what you are doing to start.
Ready-made flows
The same machinery with the two questions already answered.
Deep Work
One texture held long enough to stop noticing. The default when the work needs a whole afternoon.
Night Shipping
Steady and wide awake, for the hours when the build is still running.
Quick Focus
Half an hour, one task, a timer that ends it for you.
Long Read
Warm, percussion-free, and content to sit behind a book for an hour.
Reset
Thirty minutes of nothing being asked of you.
Drift Off
Very slow, very quiet, and it fades itself out at the end.
How a flow ends
The timer is a wall clock, not a sum of track lengths, so a 90 minute flow is 90 minutes whatever is in the queue. When it runs out the music fades over six seconds rather than stopping mid-bar — which matters most for music for sleep, where the point is that nothing is still playing at four in the morning.
